Positive coping mechanisms partially account for the relationship between social support and post-traumatic growth.
Research into painting therapy is comprehensive worldwide, making it a widely employed psychological treatment technique in diverse fields, with a broad range of clientele. Painting therapy, an evidence-based psychotherapy approach, has been shown through previous research to possess favorable therapeutic effects. Yet, studies exploring painting therapy, though limited in number, employed universal data to accumulate substantial evidence, which suggests a more tailored approach for future use. The application of bibliometric methodology to large-scale retrospective studies is insufficiently explored. This research, therefore, offered a broad survey of painting therapy, while providing an intensely insightful exploration of the knowledge framework concerning painting therapy, leveraging bibliometric analysis across articles. CiteSpace software facilitated the evaluation of globally published scientific research on painting therapy, encompassing the period from January 2011 through July 2022.
The Web of Science database was used to search for publications related to painting therapy, published from 2011 through 2022. Bibliometric techniques were applied in this study to analyze co-citation among authors, to create network visualizations of cross-country/regional collaborations, and to examine the keywords and subjects related to painting therapy, using CiteSpace software.
Eighty-seven articles, in aggregate, conformed to the established inclusion criteria. The count of publications related to painting therapy displayed a generally rising pattern over time. Painting therapy research benefited significantly from the pioneering efforts of the United States and the United Kingdom, whose impact on practical application in other countries was profound.

Possessed key publishing roles of significance in this research field. A notable focus on painting therapy was evident in Western countries, which primarily saw children, adolescents, and females within their application groups. The primary targets for painting therapy interventions were individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and those grappling with other psychosomatic disorders. Research into painting therapy has identified crucial areas of focus, including emotion regulation, mood and personality disorder management, enhancing personal self-esteem, and a humanistic approach to medical care. Keywords like 'depression,' 'women,' and 'recovery' showed prominent citation increases, underscoring crucial research directions.
Positive results consistently emerge from studies exploring the application of painting therapy. The valuable data obtained from our study enables painting therapy researchers to ascertain new research directions, specifically concerning noteworthy current societal issues, partnerships, and frontiers of exploration. The future of painting therapy holds significant promise, and additional studies should investigate its clinical utility, specifically examining the mechanisms behind its effects and developing criteria for evaluating its efficacy.
The general consensus within painting therapy research points towards positive outcomes. To chart new courses for painting therapy research, researchers can use our results to understand vital societal concerns, essential partnerships, and significant research frontiers. Further research into painting therapy holds the promise of significant clinical advancements, exploring the mechanisms and establishing clear criteria for evaluating its effectiveness.
Globalization's impact on the labor market, combined with the swift pace of technological change, fierce economic competition, and events like the Covid-19 pandemic, requires vocational psychology to develop a more sophisticated comprehension of the personal processes individuals undergo when confronted with these novel challenges and possibilities, particularly in ambiguous situations. Recognizing, creating, and capitalizing on chance occurrences as career opportunities is highlighted by the theory of Planned Happenstance, which addresses constructs such as career flexibility. Beyond this, evaluating career growth within the backdrop of unexpected occurrences and fluctuating conditions underscores the importance of comprehending how subjective temporal perspective develops. This encompasses how life experiences and career aspirations are visualized, reached, valued, and arranged. In light of the provided context, this study's objectives include adapting and validating a Portuguese version of the Career Flexibility Inventory and investigating potential links between career flexibility, time perspective, and characteristics of the educational setting. The Portuguese Career Flexibility Inventory, the Time Perspective Inventory, and a sociodemographic form were completed by 1380 students attending Portuguese higher education institutions. Indices of reliability for the Portuguese CFI pointed to a well-established three-factor model. The psychometric validity of the measure is subject to limitations, thereby highlighting the importance of future research. However, the study's conclusions contribute to a deeper, both theoretical and practical, understanding of the multifaceted nature of Career Flexibility. TI17 research buy The research's conclusions on the link between time perspective and career flexibility concur with theoretical predictions and the proposed hypotheses. Future-mindedness exhibits a positive association with responsive career adjustments, a negative association with wavering career decisions, and wavering career decisions show a positive correlation with a less future-focused outlook. The research's findings, while not fully definitive, partially corroborate the hypothesized link between students' academic averages, their scientific field, and their perspectives on time perspective and career flexibility. Finally, this research proposes a theoretical framework to analyze the distinct facets of career flexibility dimensions, contributing to a broader theoretical and practical discussion about the relationship between time perspective and career flexibility, an area still needing significant development.
Quality investments in early childhood, crucial to setting developmental foundations, facilitate children's full potential. While evidence-based interventions offer a valuable approach, expanding their application presents hurdles to achieving uniform implementation. Moreover, challenging circumstances, such as community-based conflicts, forced migration, and hardship, introduce a double-edged risk. Early childhood development (ECD) is significantly impacted by forced displacement and exposure to violence during early childhood, alongside insufficient nurturing relationships, leading to toxic stress, which then hinders children's mental health and social-emotional growth. Scale-up strategies for interventions can be particularly vulnerable to common implementation failures when faced with intense hardship. Thorough documentation of the elements essential for successful implementation of evidence-based early childhood development (ECD) programs can contribute to both the scale-up and improved efficiency of these programs within these contexts.
In communities marred by violence and forced displacement, the community-based psychosocial support model for caregivers, known as (SA, onward), emerged as a strategy to advance early childhood development.
The 2018-2019 implementation of SA in Tumaco, a violent municipality in southwestern Colombia, is evaluated in this article, yielding process results. During this stage, the program assisted 714 families, 82 percent of whom were direct victims of violence, and 57 percent were internally displaced. Qualitative and quantitative methodological approaches were intertwined within the process evaluation to establish the factors that promoted successful implementation quality.
The study's results emphasized the program's successful elements: rigorous cultural adaptation, expertly developed team selection and training processes, and a supportive team supervision protocol. This combination promoted program acceptability, adoption, appropriateness, fidelity, and sustainability while addressing frequent burnout and occupational hazards faced by mental health and psychosocial support professionals. The key predictors of the dosage delivered, a measure of fidelity, were identified through statistical analysis of monitoring data. Neurosurgical infection Early engagement in the program, combined with characteristics such as educational attainment, history of victimization, and employment status, are strongly associated with successful adherence to the program's prescribed dosage and consequent benefits.
Evidence presented in this study supports the development of structured, organized, and standardized procedures for the adoption, appropriate modification, and high-quality implementation of psychosocial support models in regions affected by extreme challenges.
This study demonstrates a framework for creating structural, organizational, and procedural models that support the adoption, suitable adjustment, and high-fidelity delivery of psychosocial support programs in areas impacted by extreme adversity.
Individual behavior is significantly influenced by cognitive style. This study investigated the connections between rational and experiential thinking styles, coping mechanisms, and post-traumatic stress symptoms in civilians enduring persistent political violence. The experiences of 332 Israeli adult residents in the southern region of Israel concerning political violence were examined. The study encompassed their post-traumatic stress levels, coping mechanisms, and a determination of whether they favored rational or experiential approaches in information processing. genetic correlation The findings indicated a correlation between low rational thought processes and elevated levels of PTS, both directly and indirectly through the mediating influence of high emotion-focused coping strategies. The study implies that rational thought mechanisms can shield against stress from enduring political violence; conversely, a preference for diminished rationality might amplify the risk of harm.
